These online moisture meters comprise of two parts namely:

• Measuring sensor unit - These are fitted in the path between drier bin and the recycling elevator in a strategic manner so that the sensor wheels encounters with flowing paddy. The sensor wheels rotate and measure the moisture present in the paddy in a preset time.


• Display control unit - This unit displays the actual moisture and set moisture and raises a siren when the actual moisture reading meets the set moisture level and also provides further control operation.
